The Fourth Annual Southern Exposure Lacrosse Recruitment All-Star Game will be held on June 26, 2010 at the Pavilion Recreation Complex in Taylors, SC. Our camp will have two advanced practice sessions with some of the finest coaches in the country and finish up with the All-Star Game under the lights. We have invited over 70 College coaches from Division I,II,and III to attend and watch these rising sophomores, juniors and seniors show off their skills. We invite every parent to attend our recruitment seminar, conducted by Stephanie Ellison, Clemson University Athletic Director of Compliance. This seminar will answer many question parents have about the recruitment process in which they are about to be involved during the next few years.
Mission Statement: The intent of the Southern Exposure Recruitment Camp is defined in the camp name. Our goal is to provide exposure, not only of players to prospective collegiate coaches, but also of players and families to the current realities of the collegiate recruiting process.
Camp will include advanced practice sessions and informative sessions for players and families with athletic administratiors and coaches, detailing the collegiate application process as well as scholarship and funding opportunities available to the lacrosse player.
The goal of Southern Exposure is to provide a realistic assessment of a player's talents, to recommend areas of improvement, and to generate an accurate perspective of potential collegiate opportunities. It is our belief that players, parents, and coaches are all best served at the conclusion of camp if they have an honest, realistic, and accurate idea of where they stand now, how they can improve, and how they might best fit within the world of collegiate lacrosse as it exists today.
